Yep, I would say the same, that if he ordered it as a gift that it was a really sweet gesture - but if he did it and wants you to pay him back then I would be really pissed off!

If it was a gift then I would be very pleased that he had been so kind.

But if you are having to pay him back, I would nit be very happy and would have to say I wasn't paying for it as i didn't ask him to do it.

If its as a gift I think you're being rather ungrateful to be honest, its a lovely thing to do and incredibly thoughtful.

If he wants you to pay then I'd just see which he ordered and go from there, if you dislike it then suggest you'd 'rather change it for one you like more' and order your own.
