Hi ladies,

I feel like I need a bit of support so I'm hoping I can join you. Mine is quite a long story so I will try to condense it down a bit!

First I better introduce myself. I'm Allie, 36 married to Tony.

I first started TTC in 2005 with my now ex partner. We found out he had Azoospermia and we were going down the donor sperm route but our relationship fell apart before we ever started any treatment. I then started a new relationship and after a year we started trying but nothing happened. Hubby was worried he was the one with the problem because of an op he'd had as a child. Everyone kept telling us not to worry, that there was no way lightning would strike twice but unfortunately it did, hubby was told that he too has azoospermia. :(

Since then, I've been losing weight so that we can be referred for DIUI however in the past few months, my periods have become erratic and I've not actually had one at all for two months.

Went to doctors today and she has arranged an ultrasound plus bloods. I'm really scared that we are going to have a really hard time if we are both experiencing problems. :(

Anyway, so much for keeping that brief.

Hello and welcome, sorry you need to come here.

Try not to panic, it's good they are investigating you with the ultrasound and bloods, and IF it turns out you have a problem too, there is so much they can do. It may just be becuase you are having such a stressful time that your periods have become erratic, and simply knowing you are getting some help should help reduce the stress I hope.

Kup on what is going on and good luck!
