can i mix gaviscon with comfort milk?

Just given Maggie her first bottle of aptamil comfort with gaviscon and read u cant mix them?? Anyone know any different?

i use cow and gate comfort milk and gaviscon my hv said i can mix them. But im not sure if aptamil has anything different in than cow and gate? I wouldnt imagine it does. Id ring your hv to check if your not sure, or aptamil x

When I started using aptimal comfort milk my doctor and HV both said not to use gaviscon anymore as it is a thickening agent and all comfort milk already contains thickening agents. Presumably if you add the gaviscon the feed would be too thick which could make it difficult for your LO to drink and/or digest.
