I keep getting ulcers on my tongue so used bonjela. But then ive read it and it says it cant be given to children as it can cause a rare disease that affects the brain and liver and can be fatal. So would this apply to an unborn baby? Im assuming so but dont have the leaflet that comes with it.
Thanks

My midwife said bonjela was ok for me to have when I had ulcers, they were pretty bad.

Don't people also give it to babies when teething?

I'd give your midwife a call if in doubt!

Salt water is good for ulcers, and other old wives tricks. Cloves are excellent! And honey apparently. x x

I asked the pharmacist today and he seems to think bonjela is fine. Ive got a really sore ulcer under my tongue now :(
Dont know if I dare use it or not!
