Can implantation bleeding be heavy?

Hi gals, I know this question has been asked over and over again one way or another, but I'm not sure what to think. I used femara last cycle and had a late ovulation on it. Our timing wasn't great since I ovulated so much later than I expected to, so when I started spotting at 13dpo, I just assumed it was AF on her way. I typically have a 15 day LP so 13/14 DPO was early to start but I chalked it up to a weird cycle. I had 1 day of a heavier flow, changing tampons every 3-4 hours, half a day of a medium flow, and then nothing but brown for a day. I did pass two dark dark red clots my 3rd day, in the middle of nothing but brown sludge like at the end of my period, and nothing since. Has anyone every had implantation bleeding or early pregnancy bleeding like that? I was testing up until I started spotting and had been getting BFN's. I do temp, but stopped when what I think was AF began. My temp had been high up to that point, but my temp often doesn't drop until 1-2 days into my period. I'm supposed to start a higher dose of femara tonight, but I'm thinking I should poas before I do. Or am I completely crazy?

tbh hun I would say that that sounds like AF to be as IB would just be light spotting not enough to need a tampon/pad for x

I sorry to jump into the middle of anything but I could really use some input! I am 42 I have only 1 tube ( duel ectopic, 1 ectopic in each tube lost only 1 tube luckily, I am only the 22 documented case ever, I know what your thinking "lucky girl"...NOT) My one tube I have does have scar tissue but 6 months before my ectopic I have birth to a healthy baby boy , he is my miracle baby i waited 18 very long years for him!!!!

So I have been trying for another the past few years off and on and the past several months I sware this is the month! and every month my DH says "you said this last month" I am not sure if I just want to get pg now to "show" him!! LOL anyway this month in my 2ww I kept getting what I called fish hook pains in my lower left uterus they felt like a quick sharp rip type of pain like the ligament pain in pregnancy.... for about 3 days they came frequently and I had a pain in grocery store that paralyzed my lower back so I was feeling that this was it then 2 days before AF was to arrive I got a big dollop of brown blood and cm or brown cm not sure but it freaked me out, the reason i knew the ectopic was not right was I had brown blood but only when i wiped,.... SO after the big spot of that I put on a liner and went to bed I woke up to a clean liner and when i went to the bathroom it kinda pured outta me into toilet ...sorry tmi... so I thought okay period is early then ...nothing on pad for now 2 days only when i wipe but it's no longer brown it goes from pink to a strange red i never had before back to pink but not alot very very light and ONLY WHEN I WIPE!! I wore a pad one day for 8 hours and it had no more that the size of a quarter and that was black colored...
I don't "feel" pregnant but hey every month I "feel" pregnant and I am not so what do I know! I have not taken any pregnancy tests cause I just can't bear to see that neg again . .. I am still having the "fish hook" pains but not as frequent and they are now not just in the same spot as before they are on left and right of lower uterus.. sore boobs went away 2 days before all the spotting but nipples still feel weird,,,,and I have NO cramping at all!! normally every period I am in agony I have to sleep with heating pad and bottle of advil!!!! SO I am wondering is this another ectopic, a misscarriage, burst cyst, peri menapause, or implantation??

Anyone have this happen? I could really use some advice other than take a test cause I just can't unless I am sure there is a good enough reason to put myself through that it kills me to see those neg tests 18 years of them really kills me!! funny everyone in my family has multiple children heck even my mom had 7!! I have always been fertility challenged! sucks!

I actually had pretty heavy implantation bleeding it definitely wasnt as heavy as what you are describing lindsayms05 but i did mistake it for my period and it was pretty steady bleeding and it last over a few days and if I would have known I was pregnant would have freaked! And I had more when I was 9 weeks but it was only for a morning whenever I wiped enough to cover the tp and was enough that I went to emergency to have it checked and that's what they told me it was! Both times it was bright red... I'm not sure if this helps but I thought I'd put it out there for you!

I don't know why I am even bothering to post another chapter to my confusion as I couldn't get an answer to my first question! I think though someday another woman will be in the same situation and if my posts helps then so be it! I final after a week broke down and took a test it was a cvs first response early pregnancy test 2 lines is pos 1 line is neg BUT i screwed up and got the blue dye kind!! UGH!! Hence the reason for the next chapter to my confusion...... So the box had 2 tests I held my bladder for a few hours and used the first one around 6 pm somewhere close to the 5 minute mark a very FAINT THIN line appeared now I have gotten this brand before and from my experience that was to me a evap line because it was so thin.... I then decided to use fmu with the second test so that once got also a faint line but it wasn't the same as the first test this faint was darker than the first but still very faint i just didn't have to study to see it and it wasn't think it was the normal chunk line... but it came i think around the 8 minute mark not sure cause after maybe 2 minutes I had visitor and couldnt get back to the test till around then ... so here I am back at square 1!! I hate spending money on these tests I do i really really do if I got a back and white answer then maybe I wouldn't hate it so much but every time I take the dang things I am just as confused if not more so than before I took it!!! So what are the chances with 1 tube at age 42 that I got pregnant had a 2 day implantation bleed cramp and clot free then got 2 pregnancy tests with super faint lines one fat and one skinny and I am pregnant??? Hmmm sounds like a lifetime special!! LOL!! Oh well I know I am never going to get anyone to give me some insight into what I am going through but it is kind of nice to use this as a sorta journal, cause I stopped telling my husband he just gets annoyed at me and I don't really have any besties that even want to talk about pregnancy at our age they all think its nuts to want kids at this stage they like their life kid free I unfortunetly like filing my house with kids screaming yelling laughing messy faces..... I refuse to call my doctor they have had me take 3 blood tests in the past 6 months and they always give me that look like "honey it isn't gonna happen why are you wasting our time" so I can't do it again! Maybe I will just wait to see if I get my period again if that wasn't implantation and was a period that means I would start ovulation today and period in about 2 weeks! SOOOO I will post then just incase down the road someone is in my position I hate it when someone posts a question and they get a hundred responses and they give more info get more responses then the thread just goes dead! nothing they never give an update if they were or were not preggo! I am not going to be that person and I can't even get one response! haha but I still will not leave it hanging... so for now signing out....

I'm having a similar thing happen for me. I had quite a bit of red bleeding at 5 dpo and then again at 7 dpo. Enough to change the color of water to red. It only lasted for one visit to the loo each time. After that it went away quickly, even the dark brown spotting. Now I'm just waiting. I haven't tested yet and probably won't until AF is late.

I can't say if those tests were evaps or not. FX the next few days give you a clear answer. Hopefully that answer is a beautiful BFP!

I am supposedly 8 DPO and yesterday I had just a very little bright red spots when I wiped. I got excited and it stopped and then today I have brown discharge like I get at the beginning of my periods My period isn't due to start for another 4 days. If it is my period then my cycle is 20 days long this month which is really short...the shortest I've ever had. I have no other signs of pregnancy and I took a pregnancy test today and it came out negative but it may be too early to test anyways if it's not my actual period. Does any one know what implantation bleeding looks like? I also have 2 ovarian cysts and 2 fibroids so I wonder if the bleeding is from that instead.

I am on month 6 of TTC and I'm getting very deterred.
