My 4wk old is on Infacol as I'm sure she was having an issue with trapped wind which we thought was colic originally but now we don't think it was!

Shes on C&G stage 1 milk and for the last week or so she's screaming after a lot of her feeds. It seems like she's trying to poo and farts a lot. Never really had trouble burping so it's unlikely to be colic and if it were I'm sure these screaming sessions would be way more severe as our first baby suffered colic and it was hell!!

She has only poo'd once today which was normal and had 2 little tiny poo's. But they aren't hard, just normal consistency. Yesterday she only Poo'd once or twice and for the last 2 nights she has had no poo's thru the night!

I'm very reluctant to change formula again as I dont think it's good for their little tummy's to keep changing things.

Could it be the Infacol and do reckon we could do without it anyway?

My LO had trouble poohing from birth to Bout 10/11 week. We jus used to cycle her legs and rub her tummy to help her along! However I did think that Infacol made her worse not better! X

It's not supposed to cause constipation but I thought it did for DS

Yep it did with my LO, we switched to traditional gripe water instead which worked much better and didn't constipate LO.

Same here. Terrible constipation with infacol and massive blow outs when he eventually went. We also swapped to gripe water and things got much better.

Thanks ladies. In that case, I'm defo Guna stop it now!

Gripe water is fine to use from 4wks old isn't it ?

If so, I'll have to go buy some instead!

Thanks Xd
