Can ovulation tests detect pregnancy?

I ovulated a few weeks ago and I've been spotting the last few days I took an ovulation test which came back dark positive. I think I could be miscarrying and feel pregnant. I am going to test tomorrow. Does anyone have any experience with this thanks?

This is my third pregnancy if I do end up pregnancy one loss and one daughter who is 10 months old.

Often they do detect the rise in hormones. I would take a test with a frer and see if anything shows up. Spotting during early pregnancy is 100% normal. Its only when its heavy bleeding along with heavy cramps that may be a sign of bad things.
