I want to make Lilly up a hamper of everything she could dream of for cooking & decorating little cakes etc, I want it all to be child size. Only problem is I dont cook much and havent a clue were to start.
Any help would be greatly appreciated x

Someone posted earlier a thread with hamper ideas with a link to photo of them from moneysavingexpert there are some lovely cooking ones in there where people have put lots of bits inside a plastic bowl things like a whisk, wooden spoon, cake mix, icing pens, hundreds and thousands, cake cutters etc

ooh, sounds good! Do you have a costco nearby? our local one had a lovely cupcake making kit which might give you an idea if nothing else, it had cupcake cases, a stand to put them all on when finished, icing, icing colouring, glitter for on top & wee flower decorations & a book on recipes etc.

Think that Buttons1's suggestion is great! Also cutters and ready to roll icing is always a hit with my little cousin who is 3 and try on ebay for cake moulds/tins you can get really nice shaped ones cheap.
O and what about a mini sized apron (& chef hat if you can find one) would be cute

I'm getting excited about that lol, might do something similar for my cousins christmas :)

Hi,

What a lovely idea!

You could include:

Childs apron
Little bowl
Wooden spoon
Sieve
Baking tray
Cute cake cases
Icing sugar
Some food colouring
Sprinkles
Mini marshmallows
Cookie cutters
Rolling pin
Childrens baking book
The cake mixture box sets you can get or you could bag up the dry ingredients yourself

Ophelia's godmummy did this for her birthday. :D

She put in it--

Mini rolling pin
Cookie cutters
A few of those 'just add water' cake mix boxe
An apron
Pink silicone cake cases that can be re-used.

And she made her a little recipe book of her own on the computer with pictures of her on and recipes for things she likes to eat and had it all laminated and bound together :cloud9:

john lewis do kids baking sets
was having a look last night

might give you some inspiration x

Home bargains have loads of kids baking bits in and they are under £1 each! I went today and got muffin silicone trays and a icing bag and nozzles and they were 99p and 79p respectively..but they have loads of different other bits too..x

oh thanks alot girls, love all your ideas. going to start putting it together over the weekend x

Look on the internet for childrens sized cooking tools like wooden spoons and bowls. Then you could add ingredients to make a pizza and some cupcakes..

I was in poundland the other day and they had utensils for cooking and they were small (think they were supposed to be for adults tho lol) x
