So I need to start out by saying I've only been temping for 6 days.. I test around 6am when I typically hit a 3 hr sleep length (I have dogs that wake me up several times at night so getting 3 hrs consecutive sleep is hard).

Anywho... for the first 5 days I was getting readings of 98.4.. today it read at 98.6... I'm 8 dpo and CD 23... I know normally temp spikes right after O but what about if it "spikes" a week after O? Also, 98.4 seems like such a low typical reading...

:nope: I just have no idea what I'm reading

Where is your chart? It's hard for us to advise without seeing patterns.

How do I get the link to it?

And there isn't much of a pattern since it's only been 8 days

If you've only been temping 6 days, and those were after you think you Oed, there's really no way to know when and if you did O... sorry, can't help you. But the mid-98s temp range is totally normal for the LP. My temps tend to be 96s-low 97s pre-O, then dip into 96s again right before O, then rise up to mid 97s and then 98s at the highest.

I know for a fact that I Oed because it was doctor induced...

I have tempted or I did temp for over two years and I have seen everything on my chart from dips to straight lines to a triphasic charts that meant nothing. I really have to stress that the worst thing that you can do to yourself during the tww is analyzing your chart post ovulation. It honestly means nothing.

If you want to keep looking at it it is a great way to detect when your period is coming by a detectable drop in temperature, but it can't show you anything else. Honestly. If your temperature keeps high for sixteen days it could mean you're pregnant. But the stuff it does in between ovulation and AF really doesn't show anything.

Don't worry about it, keep calm and carry-on. Good luck and I hope this month is your month

Thanks... i got progesterone results today and it's only 13.9 so not my month :/
