Can someone please try and help?

OK so here goes a very long story:

Me and my DH have been trying to conceive for 4 years and have never fallen pregnant! We fall into the dreaded unexplained!

November I done 1 cycle of Clomide 100mg and December I done 1 cycle of Tamoxifen (due to bad side effects with clomide!) Neither worked and the dr agreed i shouldnt do another cycle with either tablets and we were moved on to IUI with injectables.

I came on on 1st January 2010 and was waiting for next period to start the injections. This I think has arrived today!!!! This would only make me cd17?? i have never had anything like this happen and normally always come on between cd31-33!!

Has anyone got any idea why this has happened? could it be that this is the 1st month my body has been left to its own devices without tablets for a couple of months?

Would really appreciate any ideas or help x

I don't know hun, but sometimes our bodies just seem to do things for unexplained reasons. It could be due to stress or just that your body is adjusting to not being medicated this cycle. I know it is all very frustrating. I O'd 3 days earlier than normal this month which totally messed this month up for us as i wasn't yet expecting it. Still a small chance. Anyways the point of that was sometimes our bodies just do things out of the ordinary for no real reason. I'd just be grateful that you can move onto the next step that much sooner.

Aaah why is it nothing ever goes 2 plan! I just hope the hospital will count this as a period and let me start the injections 2morrow. The injections are ment to start on day 2 but considering I haven't even got them yet god knows what they will say!
The 1 month I just wanted everything to go ok so we have a good shot at the iui and my DH has flu and now this has happenend! Fingers crossed we can go ahead and not have 2 wait until next month!

I have my fingers crossed for you aswell this month. Are you going through treatment or trying narurally?

Well, good luck, I really hope that you don't have to wait until next cycle. I know how hard it is to wait for something to happen. I completed 8 rounds of Clomid and now we are trying naturally for a few months until I'm ready to get the referral to the Fertility Specialist. We have to go out of town for that and I just started a new job a month ago, so we are going to wait until this summer probably to continue with further assistance.

Ok so no such luck! Have to wait until next cycle!! Its all so long and complicated isn't it? Are you in England? are you NHS or paying for treatment? x

I'm in the states, so we pay for everything. Part of the reason we are waiting is to build up funds to pay for whatever is next.
