Can test be negative at 10 dpo and still get a postive later?

What the title says. I know 10 dpo is early to test, but I got a + last time at 10 dpo. Today it was definitely negative. I tested with First Response Early Result. Does that mean I'm out this cycle or is there still a chance? Has this happened to anyone?

With my first pregnancy I had gotten a at 10 DPO , with my second pregnancy i didn't get a until I was 1 day late for my period

I guess when the egg implants would determine when you could get a + hpt and it doesn't always happen the same day. So hopefully it was just too early and I can still get BFP.

When is AF due?

with both my pregnancies I tested on the 12th NEGATIVE - 14th SOOOO POSITIVE.

Im 12 dpo today, AF is due 8th or 9th. Had a small amount of spotting today and my temps is still up so we shall see I guess. If no BFP this cycle, I start clomid next cycle.
