Can the Sea cause mc??

Hi all....

In 09 at 6 weeks pg I had a mc...Whats bothering me now that im ttc again is that the day before the loss I was in the sea, not swimming as much as just floating around, but it was freezing cold....Is this what killed my baby? Should I avoid the sea now while im ttc??

Hope someone can help me?
