Can the smell of smoke from a fire harm my baby?

I know I'm really paranoid but my stupid neighbours decided to have a bonfire in their back garden last night burning who knows what. I could smell the smoke in my bedroom and it occurred to me it could be dodgy so I closed the window. Unfortunately my husband opened it when he came to bed later and now I've woken up and the room stinks of smoke and I have a severe headache (not unusual for me) Plus I just sneezed and got a terrible pain in my tummy. Please tell me I'm just being paranoid and bubs will be okay.

I really don't think so
if you think women for over 2000 years have been exposed to smoke from cooking and heating up homes. As long as it's clean woodsmoke or coal I would say it's ok xx

Im sure u n bubs will be fine hun, try not to worry but if u really r concerned give ur mw a quick call just for reassurance, its not fun o worry n panic about things xx

Thanks ladies. I managed to get back to sleep and feel a bit better now and reassured by your advice. :flower:
