Can you delay ovulation?

My husband is out-of-town, and of course my doctor thinks I’ll O tomorrow or Wednesday. Has anyone tried to delay ovulation? I’ve read on the Internet that ibuprofen can do it, but I wanted to hear from any with personal experience. I also read that IVF clinics do it with something similar to Ibuprofen.
