I am still bleeding a little on and off. It has mostly been more of a tan disharge for the last week but thismorning it was bright red again.

The last couple of days I had OPKs that were just short of being positive. Then this afternoon I got a really dark positive. Can this be ovulation? Is it even possible to ovulate before your bleeding has stopped. Maybe it is just my hormones trying to sort themself out. I have had positive OPKs before when I was breastfeeding (which messes with the hormones) without ovulating but never such a dark line. Todays one was a really glaring dark positive. If it was O I guess I'll get a period in a week or so (my LP is short) but I dont even know how I will know if its a period or just bleeding from the MC. Has anyone else had something like this with OPKs after a MC?

I think i must have because i had a miscarriage 3 weeks ago and got my period today and i only stopped bleeding 2 weeks ago

Yes hun, I O'd while I was still spotting. I only had 2 or 3 days of totally no blood before my first post-MC AF came. I definitely O'd as well because I usually feel it, and it was a very painful one.

Thanks for the answers ladies. This seems to be what happened with me too. I got a positive OPK while still spotting with bleeding on and off. My period came before it had even stopped propperly. That worried me to start with because I thought it was the bleeding getting heavier again but then I realised it was the day my period was due if the OPK was right so I think that it all makes sense. I just didnt expect to ov so quickly. I o'd about the same times I started getting a negative hpt. Between the MC and af I was bleeding for 6 weeks. Glad to say its finished now!
