Do you think it would be suitable to bring a toddler to? A fussy one that won't nap in a stroller, LOL. I want to do the tour & eat a meal, is it very kid friendly or very "don't touch"?

Hi,

I'm in Quebec, and I love going to the sugar shack.
Unless you go to a really weird place, sugar shacks are far from fancy and formal, so I think a toddler wouldn't be a problem at all. It's a family activity. I mean... most of the food is smothered in sugar, so they certainly don't expect kids to be calm after that :haha:

Plus before / after the meal, you can go outside and kids can run in the mud/snow all they want.

If you're worried about your kid being able to handle large groups of people, look for a small place (you can always ask them how many people they seat at a meal). Some places are huge.

If you take a tour of where they make the syrup, your only concern would be to keep the kid from touching anything that's hot.

Have fun!

Haha thanks! Any recommendations? We live in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu
