Can't change my avatar.

Everytime I try to change my avatar I keep getting this message;

Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.

Any ideas?

Not seen that message and I'll be honest I'm quite lost when the technical messages come up (in most cases anyway)

Were you by chance trying to upload a GIF image though?

The issue seems to be resolved now it did time out once whilst uploading but when I pressed 'try again' (I use firefox browser) it worked.
