Hi everyone, Just having a moan really
My son is now 9 months old and never slept for longer than 20 mins he is always on the go, he has plenty of milk and solids, the health visitors have monitored this and say he's getting plenty, he is up all night wanting to play, he isnt waking for food either just wants to get out of his cot and explore. if i leave him there he starts crying and wont stop, he wont settle in bed with us either! he has no more than 2x 10 minute naps in the day either, he is crwaling now and pulling himself up to stand. I can tell he is tired as he is getting grumpy and the tears start, but he will not give him, tried the car, pram rocking etc but still will not sleep, health visitors seem to think he will grow out of it but would they cope on no sleep for 9 months ? Where do they get there energy from, i am shattered plus i am back at work so i dont even get a break at all, when i get home it starts all over again, my husband works shifts and has call outs in the nights, even if he gets up to Jack i still hear it all and cant get to sleep. Can the gp give them anything to make them have some sort of solid sleep, it cant be healthy for him either..... Sorry about the essay, just after some advice before i am tear my hair out
