For the past few nights, well the past month or so I haven't been able to fall asleep until about 2am and I'm constantly up throughout the night, as I'm sure all of you are  due to backache, can't get comfy, getting up to pee, hip pains blah blah blah, but just the past few nights, now I can't breathe when I lay flat! The baby makes it hard for me to breathe. I can't take in a full breath and when I lay flat I can't breathe very well. So I have made this pile of pillows/blankets to make myself this little bed so I can be propped up and ugh. I still have troubles breathing! The only thing that helps is when I sit up. I spent over an hour sitting straight up in bed, passing out. Then I was getting anxious because I was worried, okay, maybe something is wrong with me, maybe something is wrong with the baby. Although I know this is all normal! Anyone else going through this same thing?

Yeah this is poo, I have no suggestions I'm still up in the night fit wees, hip/back pain or just bein too hot! And restless legs eugh! I just lie there, thinkin I hope there are no spiders in here! Sometimes my fiancé talks in his sleep n that provides me with some entertainment. The other night he said 'what are they?' then he paused n then he said confidently 'Snails!' haha xx

 That's too funny! What are they? Snails!! Omg. Too funny. My fiance usually ends up elbowing my in the face or something in his sleep so throughout the night I'm pushing his limbs away. haha. He is also a bed hog and I'm always trying to push him over. My dog just looks at me whenever I'm sitting up rolling over and getting up during the night. He looks like...what are you doing? Don't expect me to get up. haha

Haha yeah I get elbowed in the face too. My fiancé is 6'6 so he spreads himself across the bed in ridiculous positions n he gets mad when I tell him to move cos he's in dream mode. I think he must be some kind of gangster guy in his sleep. Once he said 'what do you want me to do about it?' and I said 'about what?' I did kno he was sleeping but I love tryin to make him say more. He said 'the bullets!' dead loud haha. The best one he ever said was 'i love linda' ha if we actually knew anyone called linda or he'd said a young persons name I wouldn't have found it as funny. Xx

I had the same problem around 30 weeks... It got worse, now I can't fall asleep until 6-9am :(

6-9am!!!!! OMG you must be going stir crazy??????

I can really identify with this post!
Its 2am no point in going to bed now because of ALL of the points you listed. Especially the hip pain. I cant wait to lay on my belly again :dohh:

^^^ LOL... I'm sitting eating haribo, watching a horror movie and playing on baby and bump. What a life!!! ;)

Haha ladies. We all share the same pain! Glad to hear I'm not the only one.

Wow, he's huge! lol. That's too funny. I wish my OH talked in his sleep. My younger brother used to do that, and actually carry on a conversation with you and he never even knew it. Haha gotta love em. My fiance sleeps like a rock, I'm in and out of bed all night, sitting up laying down rolling over pulling covers and he like does not budge. :dohh: lol

Its 3:00am here and still no sleep either.

(sorry i just barged in)

last night i didn't sleep till 5 am. it's ridiculous. i toss and turn. i get too hot, then too cold. then i get in the perfect spot and i have to pee. grrr!!! :( but i have the constant back pain, hard time breathing, can't get comfy thing too!! and my lovely OH likes to elbow me in the forehead then get mad when i push him away. he also likes to talk in his sleep. sometimes i'll roll over and he'll go "are you ok?, are you ok?" haha it's cute but he's doing it in his sleep! which makes it cuter. but i envy how hard he can sleep :(

I can never sleep!!! I don't even think it's because i'm uncomfy but for some reason I just can't sleep!!! I'm always awake until about 4am this has been going on for a couple of weeks now ! It can be so annoying :(

I've never slept properly and have always been an insomniac. Lol s it isnt any different for me.

That's so funny that we get elbowed. I thought I was the only one. :haha: I guess we're getting a taste of what it's going to be like to not get any sleep once the baby is here. I wish I could just sleep one whole night through! My OH jokes and calls my huge mound of pillows and blankets my pregnancy bed and he laughs because he thinks it's cute. lol. It's not cute!! I need my comfiness back! I need my sleep!

Aghhh I thought i was being totally over the top about this! The last few weeks i've tried everything - the spare room, the sofa (last night) and even the FLOOR in a bid to find somewhere comfy to sleep! I've tried propping myself up, propping my bum and legs up, hanging my legs out the bed (the 'jumps' are particularly frustrating!) and came to the conclusion at half five this morning whilst watching strictly come dancing on replay (on the sofa) that the only comfy place right now would be a floatation tank..... roll on the due date i reckon, at last then we'll have our comfy old bodies back and can share the sleep deprivation with our (soundly asleep at present) other halves :) x
