Really just looking for a bit support here. I have always been of fairly average build - uk size 10, and I'm about 5ft2-5ft3. My bmi was always around 22-23, so bang in the middle of healthy.
In the past few years my weight has slowly started creeping up, to the point where I am really unhappy with how I look. Don't get me wrong, I'm not massive by any extreme - I wear uk size 12 and my bmi is around 25, I weight just over 10 stone.
My problem is that I just can't stop eating! I literally start thinking about what I can eat next! It is usually savoury carbohydrates which I want to eat. And cheese!
I am a teacher so I am off work for the next 7 weeks and I'm really looking to lose around a stone, which would bring me back down to a comfortable weight. I have already lost 9lb since Christmas time, so I know I can do it.
I have started the couch to 5k programme, and I am doing those 30 day challenge things through an app on my phone. I will also be walking to help a friend out with her care duties 4 mornings a week, which is up a huge hill (maybe 20 minutes) and back down again in the evening. We walk the dog in the evening, so I am getting plenty of exercise.
I am vegetarian so I eat a lot of carbohydrate. This is mainly due to convenience, since my boyfriend eats meat. If anyone has some veggie recepie ideas which are suitable for meat lovers, that would be great!
I drink way too much diet fizzy juice, too, which I hope to reduce over the summer.
