Anyone ever had to send a photocopy of their license (full or provisional) and counterpart off to an insurers?

Is it a company you found through the internet? Thats what mine was, I had to send photocopy. Been with them 7mths now and no probs x

I have never heard of this? Are they trusted? Maybe do some research on them, ask on the Martins Money Motoring section on the forums and I'm sure someone on there will know!

My partner did.. he had to send mine & his dads too because we were on his insurance.. I have no idea why though

I have, but I have things like trackday for our Integra on my licence.

Out of interest, what's the insurance company? And who is is underwritten by?

I did check and many internet companys need it, Its quite a new thing (2012) x
