Car seat adapters

We have a mamas and papas sola pushchair which came with an aton car seat and the adapters to go with it that fit our pushchair for the travel system. I'm looking at getting a double pushchair for when our next baby arrives but looking at mamas and papas brand they don't seem to have the type of pushchair I want. Do you know if I can just get any brand pushchair and then get special adapters so the car seat can go on it? Or will I have to buy a new car seat as well
