Does anyone have a car seat that they can recommend please that meets with my wish list?

I'm ideally looking for a combination seat so that I can keep DD rear facing as long as possible, but that I can face forward later on, I'd like it to have a reclining option for when she falls asleep and I don't have isofix in my car so it would need to be belt secured.

I thought my requirements would be easily met but I just don't seem to be able to find one :(

Thanks in advance :flower:

Britax first class plus I think ours is it's a great seat and think it does everything you want.

Xx

Joie Stages. Rear facing until 18kg (as opposed to the standard 13kg), seat belt secured and is in a recline position in RF, and 3 recline position FF.

I second the Joie Stages. It's really good value and meets your needs. I wanted to get it when my oldest outgrew the infant carrier carseat, but unfortunately it didn't fit in our car. We did buy one for my mum's car, though, as she travels with DD a lot. DD is two and five months, she's still RF at the moment, but will be switching to the FF position soon.

Thanks for your suggestions ladies, for those of you that have the joie stages is it correct that when you install it rear facing you have to have the seat on full recline?

I like the britax maxway but it can only be installed rear facing :(

Oh no :(

I need a new car haha I'd be able to find a reclining combination seat then ;)

Could you get isofix retro-fitted in your car. We did in my husband's focus so we had the option to use our isofix seat in it in an emergency.

Also, i deliberately bought a convertible seat (besafe izi Combi isofix) so I could change to FF if needed, but have never felt the need to.

The britax TWoWay Elite might be an option - it can be FF if you decide you want to, and it fit's practically any car. Though you can't adjust the recline when LO is in it - there are just 2 recline options depending on what way you fit it.

We have the Britax Maxfix in our car, and I'm really happy with it. DD is quite content RF, because her seat can sit fully upright now and she can see out of the rear windscreen.

I didn't realise you could get isofix retro-fitted, that's an option to consider thanks
