Car seat suggestions

We were planning on getting the Britax First Class Plus, so we have one seat that lasts from birth to around 4 years old.

Can anyone suggest some alternatives? The colour I was going to get isn't available now and the only other plain black one has a meshy material and I don't want the pattern to transfer onto her arms in the summer, iykwim.

I do want to get one that lasts though, as with my bad back I can't easily carry the carrycot ones without a baby in, let alone an occupied one!

i think the Concord Ultimax is also suitable from birth to 4 - and comes in a massive range of colours. probably a bit more expensive than the Britax but good quality from what I have read xx ps. my LO is due on Easter Monday
