Hi ladies!

I've been cardmaking for years but mostly just for family and friends birthdays. Have had a couple of small commissions but nothing major.

I'd just like to know where you all get your supplies from - is there anywhere you would recommend?

I just pop into a craft shop if I see one or mooch online but would like a regular supplier if possible because I'd love to try and turn my hobby into something a bit more - a few pennies would be nice lol!

Thanks in advance xx

I buy them from a little independent shop just outside of Solihull. They are cheaper than places like hobbycraft :flower:

Thanks you for replying hun - I don't suppose they have a website do they?

Heya hun I just pick up bits from craft shops to pound shops, I even have a few bits from Tesco. I jsut pick up things I like and they go into my card craft box so I have a large selection of things and never make the same card twice.
I'm also considering trying to turn it into a moneyspinner but figure I'd have to look into getting more items in bulk for that so if you find anything of use please do reply back here I'd be grateful for the info too! :)

I get mine from Stampin' Up! It's one of those "party" companies but their stuff is Awesome. I'm not sure if they send to the UK but their site is www.stampinup.com .

From my mum! Lol! Or local craft shop or there are a few groups on Facebook now that have people sell their craft stock on. I have gotten lots of lovely bits from.

I've liked a few fb pages, but could you share the links of some you use if it's not too much trouble?

A few years now, but it's always just been a hobby. I do have a fairly large stash though lol.

I started last year, I needed a hobby, something to keep me busy and my brain working. I'm a stay-at-home mum :)
My mum has been doing it for a few years now, I set up a page on Facebook for her and me to sell what we make :) I now take our stuff to craft fairs, which is good, because it gives me a break from my daughter and she gets time with daddy :)

This is our page https://www.facebook.com/MONEYSPIDERCREATES

Yeah I'm a sahm too. Just getting into photography as well - I don't have a super expensive camera but I must take a good shot because I've had 2 friends ask me to do their wedding photography - got the first one this Saturday!

You should set up a Facebook page! I only have a camera on my phone lol!

Yeah I'm going to, have asked my friend to design me a logo. My husband says I should specialise in wedding stationery and photography - do a package lol

my mum has her own craft shop up here in hartlepool. She teaches classes twice - sometimes three a day too - she is amazing at it! But unfortunatly she is closing down at the end of the month. She spends so much time there her family havr forgotten what she looks like so shes decided enough is enough. Its a shame you dont live closer because she is having a massive sale from tomorrow and she sells exclusively card making things. cxx

Aw what a shame she's closing. Wish I did live closer, I'm guessing she doesn't have a website?

Hi ladies, I just tend to pick up bits and pieces when I see them. I do find hobbycraft so expensive though!!!
eBay can be quite good.
Just set up my own Facebook page..
