Elizabeth is the baby's great-grandma's name, Linda is the baby's grandmother's name. I like Linda because it honors one of our parents, but I'm not sure if it's too cutesy.
I think Caroline Elizabeth sounds much better together -- much better flow!
Personally, i don't think Linda is "cutesy" at all? Very old names are back "in style" but Linda is not a "very old name". Kinda falls into our parent's generation of names like: Debbie, Cathy, Susie, Peggy, etc.... iykwim??
However, since middle names aren't used much anyhow... i think you should just go with the one that is more special to you...
I think Caroline Elizabeth flows together better but Caroline Linda also sounds quite pretty. I was told when picking names to imagine different time when they might be used. Like when you say it out loud to get her tush in the house how does each sound or imagining them in school and being called on the first day. But like it has been said before middle names aren't used often so go with Linda if you have more of a connection to that.
Caroline Elizabeth is one of my absolute favorite names! When I was younger that was my little girl name, because I had an awesome friend by the name. Of course, as you get older your plans change, so I moved on. BUT Still love it!
