Ok so im kind of starting to worry as Carter has been on 5 oz every three hours for over a month now and just this past week he has been so random barely ever finishing even 4 oz and sometimes only 2 i dont know why he cant finish his bottles anymore if anything i thought babys go up in oz not down. Than sometimes i make 4 and he is still hungry he has been on a schedule since about the first or second week so i dont know if i should bother a doctor about the fact he is not eating nearly as much or if its ok

Sienna was starting to drink less recently and becoming really grumpy inbetween feeds... In the end i discovered that the teat on the bottle was too slow for her and she was getting tired and frustrated so giving up half way through a feed,.... Since putting her on the next stage teat she has been fine and is back to drinking 5-6oz every feed rather than 2-3oz.... Maybe worth a try?! I hope you find out whats up and that Carter starts feeding well again x

He is already on fast flow has been since pretty much birth cause he haaated the slow and medium even. He has now seem to have gone from 5 oz every 3 hours to 4 every 2 ugh i dunno why

Same with my son, I dont know why he does this as well. I recently changed his teats from 1 to 2, he still left out 1oz, rarely drink all milk. He does is when its time for him to be feeding, he takes it then maybe every 1oz, he push it out and starts crying, and I have to pull out and wait for a min then try to offer him milk and he takes it again and push it out again. I don't know if I should change to teat 3? I am very considering about his feeding but his weight is all good. xx

Same happened to Ava. She was only eating 2 oz at every feeding and I bumped her up to medium flow (I just actually switched yesterday) and no she is eating 3-4 oz.

I use Dr Browns bottles and they have a level 4 teat which is for 'more agressive feeders' according to the packet, do the brand you use have anything like this, or a variflow maybe?

I couldnt go any faster than the fast flow he can barely handle that and dribbles like mad its not a nipple problem i know that and he seems to be going back to normal this week maybe it was a growth spurt which i know is usually when they eat more but he was eating less and sleeping like mad. Guess i wont ever know thanx girls
