Okay lots of white cm today excited for opks: )

I need some ttc buddies too! lol. I am 27 and my husband will be 33. We were ntnp for 3 years and on the 2nd month of ttc.
I am currently cd4...it feels like this cycle is going by entirely way too slow. I ordered opks and they should be arriving today. I have also started temping this month. I have never been so excited to take my temperature and pee on a stick lol...usually I am depressed as its usually a negative pg test. Good luck and baby dust to you!

Lol hey jules:) word of advice temp at the same time everyday for ur sanity it makes a huge difference even if u gatta set an alarm!

I have been setting an alarm at 6am on my phone, though the first day I plugged it in away from the bed so I totally messed it up.lol I jumped out to turn it off then realized I wasnt supposed to move. Good thing it was just the first day and I was on AF so I didn't mess it up too much. Its hard to create that habit in my half asleep brain.

P.s. When do you usually start using the opks? I am tempted to just use them everyday until I know I O just to get used to it.

I'm CD 11 today! Opk is still negative with a very faint line. Hoping it gets progressively darker. This is only our first cycle ttc#1 after I stopped BC in September so I have no idea what to expect.

Welcome pruili! Ill help as much as i can :) and jules i literally pin a sock to my wall next to my pillow and my phone under my pillow but this months temps suck since i lost my pin a few days lol..... i usually start around cd. 9 especially since i took soy and it can give false positives, usually test around 2-6 pm best time for testing no fmu ladies! Key to temping is no movement period trust me ive lost my thermometer and i just give up since any additional movement can give a false temp

Hello prili!

I set up a little area on my nightstand and pushed it up against the bed so it's less likely to fall. My husband looked at me and just shook his head..though this morning he asked if I took my temp and asked to look at the chart. (I know he secretly thinks it is interesting) lol

I know i'm crazy starting to use the opks right after AF, but my cycles have been annoyingly off lately. The first few months I realized I was ovulating way later than I thought..according to my app at least. Then last month we decided to bd every other day for 2 weeks starting the day before my fertile window just in case and of course its the only month ever I ovulated a week early! I was so mad..lol

But I know that this could be a long road so I am trying my best to just keep moving forward until it happens.

What does the soy do?

Am joining you ladies here. CD12 today and negative OPK yesterday.

Am losing hope and faith by the day. Don't know what's wrong with us though blood work and SA came back positive.

Will keep on trying.

Whatever gives u peace of mind go for it

Welcome zen! I may have had a positive yesterday but ill see what my opk looks like today since last week i got a +cd12

CD 12 still negative. Last month it was around CD 13 or 14.

Im with u todays should have been darker but it was a flat neg now im wondering if yesterdays 1/8 positive was true, and i wanted to have a beer or two but i dont want a false temp tomorrow grrr

Just saw my Fertility Specialist and she did a scan for me and found that my follicle is not big enough to release an egg. She estimated another 4 days to ovluation.

Also told me that I have mild PCOS. That's probably why my ovulation date varies each month.

Lucky at least u have an idea me i have no clue what my problem is i wanted to try for a year before seeking help but every wacky month that goes by it makes it that much difficult did she tell u anything about how to treat ur pcos?

She put me on metformin to control the insulin resistance problem which is probably cause by PCOS. Otherwise, she is recommending me to do IUI but I am not keen to do it yet. Still want to try naturally.

OPK is positive today. Hopefully can catch the egg. But not having any hopes this round.

I did some research on Google and found some answers, which I have been wondering for a long time.

Apparently insulin resistance may cause miscarriage and if the pregnancy went on, may cause gestational diabetes and premature delivery. That's probably the reason why I had miscarried the first time at 6 weeks.

On top of that, I was putting on weight a lot and can't seem to lose them and was wondering what's wrong with me. It was insulin resistance as well. Since taking metformin, I was able to lose 0.5kg, not much, but considering that I have been puting 1kg per year since married, this is good enough.

Will let you know if I get a BFP this month. Hopefully both of us do.
