CD19 still no ovulation :(

Thanks Cabbage, FF struggles to give me solid cross hairs, but I am OK about having dotted lines. I think I ovulated on CD29, not CD28, but oh well

Not happy with my slow temp rise or the late ovulation but nothing I can do about that. We BD on CD26, 27, 28 and 29, so hopefully that was enough and my egg was fertile and not too old

Well I decided to have a little play around with my temps as I have been waking up earlier than my usual time. I put in some adjusted temps to see what it did and it still says I O'd earlier than I think.

I do think I ovulated considering all the signs I had, If I have a normal cycle then AF is due tomorrow!!

Loulou I hope you did ovulate!! Let us know how it goes

Your chart looks good too cabbage, wish FF told us exactly how it calculates your cross hairs, as you got yours after your positive OPKs, it gave me mine on my first day of positive OPKs, which cannot be right as I had a super strong positive (darker than control) at 8.30pm on CD28 LOL

rmsh1 I think you O'd CD29 aswell, it's probably dotted because of the CM pattern but it's still looking good! I am trying soy next cycle to see if it brings ovulation forward. Even if I did ovulate my temps are rubbish anyway all they seem to do is decline!

I wanted to try soy too but it is not good for anyone with thyroid issues - I have cysts on my thyroid, but had normal thryoid hormone levels last time I checked 4 years ago. I last had an ultrasound on my thyroid before I moved to London, which was 5 years ago, so no idea how the cysts are doing now

So soy might be ok for me given my hormone levels are fine, but I dont want to risk it.

I am going to see my doc in May, and if they dont refer me for any testing I am going to start vitex. I am going to insist on at least a thyroid hormone level check though

Those are excellent BD'ing days, did you get a high score from FF? You can always change your OV day manually if you feel that FF got it wrong. Looking at your chart, I would have guessed the same as FF, but you know best.

Ohhh where do I get a high score info from? I have only the free version of FF

Ohhh I just saw that the reason I have dotted cross hairs is cos of my silly saliva microscope, the results dont match it, I guess I could exclude them completely and see what it does

I am abit worried about it just causing more problems, but the whole time I have been TTC I haven't tried much to be honest so I think I am going to risk it for atleast one cycle then I am going to see a doctor about it all. I have a feeling I may have PCOS, quite a few women in my family have it including my mom but she had 5 kids!! Just feel like the odds are against us right now.

Think they take your past cycles (ovulation date) into consideration... I have ovulated on CD18 for the last few months (bar last month, when I miscarried)...
They say your luteal phase rarely changes and if it does, just by a day or two. It tells you on FF how it calculates your crosshairs... not specifically but generally...

I have a dip today, I could humour myself and tell myself it's an implantation dip (ha!) but I am trying not to over-analyse my chart this month!!

It's part of paid FF... but I can tell you that you get a high score from your BD'ing days...

Copied and pasted from FF:

"Notes:

Cycle Days: Cycle days are numbered relative to Ovulation. O stands for Ovulation Day. O-1 is the day before Ovulation and O+1 for the day after ovulation.

Score: Each pattern score is evaluated using a regression model based on actual successful patterns collected on this site. The score is then tabulated into Low, Good and High values.

Day After Ovulation: For the sake of completeness we have included the day after ovulation data. The probability of conception on this day is very small. Because data is entered once a day, the ovulation day is only estimated within a one day accuracy which could make the day after ovulation more relevant than theoretically determined.

Using the Intercourse Timing Analyzer to Evaluate your Intercourse Pattern

Based on a statistical analysis of intercourse timing and frequency in successful cycles, we have developed an Intercourse Timing Analyzer (analysis menu above your chart) to help you evaluate your own intercourse pattern over multiple cycles. The Intercourse Timing Analyzer uses a statistical regression model based on successful charts to score your own pattern based on your intercourse timing and frequency in your fertile window.

The Intercourse Timing Analyzer will score your intercourse pattern for each completed cycle as it relates to your probability of pregnancy. The intercourse pattern is scored as Low, Good, or High depending on the pattern's likelihood of resulting in conception. You can then use this information to help determine the course of your Trying to Conceive Journey.

If you have several charted cycles with a "low" score, then you have likely not been timing intercourse optimally for conception purposes. This may lengthen your time to conception, even if there are no other factors that are preventing you from conceiving.

You may find that you have been timing intercourse optimally for conception purposes for several cycles. In this case, you may decide to seek medical help to determine what could be preventing you from conceiving. Even if you have been advised to wait a full year or longer, it may be reasonable to seek help earlier if you know that you have been timing intercourse well within your fertile window"

You need to have BD'ed on three of these days to get a high score. A high score equals a high chance of conceiving...

FX it goes up tomorrow!!!

I cant get a score, maybe only available to paying members? My microscoep worked really well last cycle, but I got zilch from it this cycle

You should take a look at the long cycles thread, lots of girls trying soy there. One girl started taking soy, this is her second month. She only ovulated three times in the last year, and only one of those was confirmed, well she has now confirmed ovulation after two cycles of soy. She has PCOS too, so soy seems to be working well for her

Thanks cabbage, looks like I would get a "high" then. I wanted to BD last night too but OH was just too tired. I just have to wait and hope we caught the egg now :)

I have had a little browse through some of them, I am researching it as much as I can so will be taking a proper look through anything I can find soon. I just want this cycle to be over with lol, if I conceive next cycle I would be due around my birthday and valentine's day!!! :D

I don't think it's too big, have you compared your chart with others on FF?
