CD20 and still no O! Really starting to worry now!

Hi all,

Feel like screaming! I'm currently on CD20 and I'm using clear blue opk but still no smiley face I can see a very faint second blue line on the stick when I take it out of the wand but can't remember if that had been there all month or if it might be a sign that o is close. My last cycle was 35 days does anyone think it might still have time to happen? Xxx

I think it will still happen. If your last cycle was 35 days you probably ovulated on CD21. So you will probably ovulate in the next few days. Do you usually have regular 35 day cycles?

I don't use the clear blue opk but my opk's do fade in a couple of days before the actual positive so that faint second line may be a sign your surge is on it's way. x

Yeah my cycle does tend to be slightly longer than most around the 35 day mark. Thank you so much, you've managed to stop me panicking a bit! I'll be so exited when and if I see that bloody smiley face lol! Fingers crossed for the next few days Xx

Just keep BDing What is your CM like? Do you have EWCM?

Well that's another thing that's worrying me I noticed what I thought was ewcm last month around CD16 but I wasn't using opk last month and so far this month I've not seemed too have had any. Xx

Is it watery? Maybe you are just going to have a longer cycle this time. My cycles vary from 35 - 44 days. Very annoying when trying to work out when ovulation is! Are you having any post ov symptoms? Is it possible you missed it? x

I don't think I could have missed it as I've been testing since cd6. Yeah quite shiny and slightly watery. No other symptoms but I don't usually notice any others anyway. I'm kinda hoping I'm on a longer cycle only had 3 since coming off bc so maybe they're still settling down. Jeez a 44 day cycle must be excruciating waiting! Xx

hi i have similar cycles to you between 34-38, i have got my smiley face on day 23 and last cycle on day 21, just keep going with the opks. Also just a pointer to keep dtd for a couple of days after smiley face even on long cycle, i had smiley face on tuesday and have ewcm still today so will be DTD soon.

I would like to see if i can take anything herbal or treatments to try and reduce my cycle but i am not sure.

have you heard of anything? how long have you been trying?

I have only heard about reflexology and accuputure, i did start a session of reflex last week suppose to help with the hormones and relax you

I realize this thread is a couple days old, so most likely you have ov'ed and moved on... lol.

BUT - I have longish cycles also. Have been trying to use opks for about a year. Not ONCE have I gotten a definite positive on them. Not once. They get darker, and lighter, and darker, and lighter throughout my cycle. I know that I ovulate, my cycles are fairly regular, but sometimes the opks just don't work. I am one of those people. So listen to your body, and do what feels right! Good luck to you!!

I have a 35 day cycle and ovulate around cd21 every time. Weird thing is I get ewcm at least a week before O up until a few days after.
