CD21 Prog <1.0 then positive OPK's CD25-26 (18-19 days AFTER clomid!!)

Ladies,

Just wanted to share my story - it may not be a BFP, but it made me happy!!

Had my CD21 progesterone test results last week and had <1.0 progesterone so was really upset and had given up on this month....

Then last night & this morning which was CD25 and CD26 (18-19 days since last Clomid tablet) CD3-7 100mg, I had 2 smiley faces on a clearblue digi OPK!!

I am soooo happy!! I just wanted to tell you all as I assumed everyone had to ovulate 5-10 days after the last clomid but I guess it can happen later!!

Keeping my fingers crossed that it was ovulation and not just a surge - I guess it explains the excruciating pains I had all weekend - I thought it was a cyst as had given up testing OPK's after my CD21 results!

Thats great! I don't like that docs tell you when you should ov on Clomid. Everyone is different and will ov when their body's are ready. I think as long as you are ov'ing its a good sign and if its earlier its even better.

I thought i'd post it as I had completely given up hope last week, and was really upset after the blood test so this gave me hope, and I figured it'd help someone else if they're in a similar situation!

Glad you posted this because I am on CD 22 and no O. I took Clomid on days 3-7 My temp dropped on day 17 and has pretty much stayed down since then. It had one day where it raised a little, but not enough for an O spike. Thanks for the hope.

I honestly was convinced I was out as my progesterone was <1.0 which is pretty much non existent!

Then I had really strong stomach pains and was concerned it was a cyst, but it was ovulation!!

Not sure what happened, or why it took so long, but there we go!!

@bumblebeettc1 - will you have another chance to have a prog check 7 days after your possible ovulation again to confirm you did in fact O, even if it was slightly later than expected?

I am not sure yet - i'm going to try and pop along to my doctors early next week and see!
