Celebrity inspiration?

Hiya!
I was wondering if any1 else out there chose a name that theyve only ever heard on a celebrity before? And what sort of comments/assumptions uve had because of it? Our little man is called Travis, which we heard on Travis Barker of Blink 182 fame. We didnt name him after Travis Barker coz we're obsessed with him or anything, that just happens to b where we 1st heard the name & then liked it... it doesnt necessarily mean we "named our child after Travis Barker" Am i making sense? If id have called him Will, ppl wouldnt presume he was named after Will Smith, they'd just think it was coz i like the name Will!!

So who else has celebrity inspired baby names? or wanted 1 but didnt?

Our little boy, if we ever have one, will be called Seth. OH's fav motocross rider is called Seth Enslow and that's where we heard the name. We also really like Seth Green who we think is very funny.

I love the names Shiloh (Angelina Jolie's daughter) Harlow (Nicole Richie's daughter and Nahla (Halle Berry's daughter)
I would definitely use Nahla as a first name and the other 2 maybe as middle names....

Well our son is called Brandon (surname Lee) everyone asks if we named him after the late actor, and well, kind of yes we did! Although I think it is important to like the name to begin with, funnily enough I have always liked this name and when I met my husband I was thrilled with his surname haha!

I am strongly considering Eric as the name for our second son due to it's connection with Brandon Lee (his character name in The Crow) and yes, I do really like the name, I think it's less common now and just sounds nice. : ) not sure hubby will allow this though.....he is desperately trying to think of other names! x

I really like the name Lincoln - from Prison Break, and Logan - from X men . Both names id consider using for a son. xx

Logan was our 2nd fave!! but i was worried it'd get 2 popular coz of the films!

LOL! yeah, my mum keeps joking about that. Think even I draw the line at that one haha, funnily enough I think my son would assume we had named his brother after the shark from finding nemo!! x
