Im doing it again i shouldnt actually be over here tomorrow. But i think you may be able to advice me better as many of you will have brought your bits of bedding ect.
Are the cellular blankets the ones that you can use in cots and moses baskets and can just put extra ones on the baby if its colder?

Also are the fitted pram sheets the ones that you use in the bottom of moses baskets. Or are they actually called moses basket sheets?
as in these https://direct.asda.com/Pack-of-2-Fitted-Jersey-Sheets:-Pram-White/002044471,default,pd.html as i dont see why you would need a fitted pram sheet for an actual pram. Im so confused

i think in some cases the pram ones are slightly bigger so they do do the moses basket sheets.
yeah i use sheets and cellular blankets and just layer them if baby is cold. xx

Thanks very useful to know now i can get on with buying them. As need t order some stuff online and its free delivery if i order £25 so though i would kill 2 birds with 1 stone

We've got a carry cot pram, so they need moses basket/pram sheets. Our pram is the same size as a moses basket so i don't see why you can't get pram sheets for your moses basket? xx

I have those exact sheets and they fit perfectly on my moses basket :flower:

xx

just check the dimensions of any fitted sheets against the size of your mattress :flower:

cellular blankets are breathable and good insulators... we've got some fitted sheets, flat sheets (for on top) and some blankets xx

I am going to buy flannel sheets as they are softer and also not fitted ones as they tend to shrink after washing.

My mum told me just to use pillow cases rather than spend ridiculous money on tiny sheets that you'll only use for a few months!

eta: although those Asda ones are pretty cheap anyway! Why do people go to m&p and pay a fortune for basic things like this? *baffled*

ahh i got millions given to me (mother care ones) brand new so i haven't really had that problem, and couldn't complain..
but i've also got a few blankets to layer up with..
xxxx

I used to do this!!!

When i had DS he had reflux, and he went through sheets at a ridiculous rate!!! when we'd run out of clean sheets we'd move onto pillow cases. it worked wonders! completely forgot about this 'trick'. think i'm gonna buy a couple of packs of pillow cases!!

Hmm, good point I've bought cot sheets but didn't think about ones for the moses basket - duh! Better add them to my list
