Cerazette.. Hardest Pill To Come Off & Concieve?

Hi Ladies!

Im new here and thought id post a thread.

Im 19 and 2O in january, i have wanted a baby for about 2 years now, feeling SO broody, brought 2 cats thinking it might go away.. I was wrong, so here i am! I live with my OH in our own house and we are engaged

We are trying for a baby, but its a long story, im on cerazette and have been for roughly 2-3 years now, no period at all in that time, not released an egg. I had gastric flu last week or so and its just cleared up, sickness and dihorrea sorry if TMI!

So i dont know if my pil would have been absorbed, anyway i have stopped taking it and have been off it about a week now, no period or anything, but me and the OH are having sex regularly and im sitting with my legs up after sex, my appetite has gone completely. Feel nausus but not actually been sick, stomachs rock hard, but test is neg..

Any ideas? Also, how long did it take people on Cerazette to get back to 'normal' once stopped taking it?

Will be following this thread very closely. I came of cerazette just over 3 weeks ago i think and have had no withdrawal bleed or period. Was only taking it for 5 and a half months. For the past 3 days or so i have felt extemely nauseous and have nearly every pregnancy symptom going.
Have had 2 negative test (cheapies) yesterday and today.

Fingers crossed for us both.

I'm a bit confused, if you've only been off it a week you wouldn't be able to be pregnant yet surely? Or am I getting confused?

I've been off it 3 weeks and had no period yet x

Will be following this thread very closely. I came of cerazette just over 3 weeks ago i think and have had no withdrawal bleed or period. Was only taking it for 5 and a half months. For the past 3 days or so i have felt extemely nauseous and have nearly every pregnancy symptom going.
Have had 2 negative test (cheapies) yesterday and today.

Fingers crossed for us both.

Omg i had 2 tests, both from poundland (LOL) and both were neg, one yesterday and today, felt so nauseous but not been sick, stomachs rock hard and just feel tired ALL the time.. Do you think Cerazette can trick us?

i wasnt on the same pill as you, but i cam off the pill after my withdrawel bleed in september and i havent had a period yet. Doctor told me to expect up to 3 months to get your cycle back, some people it can take a year.

A lady on here advised me to track my temperature on fertility friend, and i did and i could see from there that i have ovulated this month, but it would mean my AF would come totally different time, so after coming off the pill your cycle can totally change, so as hard as it is, just got to sit tight and wait. But charting defo helped me work out what was happening xx

Ive been off it a week but the week before i was really ill with sickness and dihorrea, unlikely my pill was absorbed, but i doubt i can get preg this quick! i was told if you are off a week you should get your period in that week.. obviously not lol x

Hi, I came off Cerazette end of May and it took 9 weeks to get my fisrt AF! Next cycle was also very long but then they settled to 30/31 days (I also took agnus castus so that could've helped). This is my first cycle TTC.

I have done lots of research and found that some of the side effects coming off this pill are pregnancy type symptoms so it can play tricks on you! I have also found that some ladies get their BFP right after coming off it and before they even get an AF so don't rule that out

Mine were pounland tests too.

I'm really starting to think so. Just wish my period would get here so i knew where i was at. Would also really like this sickness to go away.

Hiya! Firstly sorry for the questions, whats AF and BFP?
I read on the net it can trick you, but why would they do it its so cruel.

Yeah but if i eat it eases the queeziness a bit, which happened when i was pregnant with my son. Worried its all in my head. Phantom pregnancy

Ahhh girls I feel for you... I was in the exact same place back in April when I came off cerazette.. I'd googled and got some horror stories about cerazette and was really worried.

My story; Came off cerazette 28th April had no withdrawal bleed, waited 7 weeks for af (since leaned thats about usual) had a 24 dfay cycle then got pregnant.

It's not all bad news with this pill!
I just posted on another cerazette thread about the thread I created when I waiting for af (aunt flo!) that's still quite active... you should search it as the girls on there are in/have been in the same position as you

hi hun i think everyones different and everyones bodys react differently i was only on cerazette for 4 weeks decided me and oh wanted to try for baby no 2 and it took my period 9 weeks to come back !!!! when i stopped it i was convinced i was pregnant sore boobs tired bloated done loads of tests all negative and then the witch showed her face!!x

When I stopped cerazette I had the worst pregnancy symptoms the first month before my first period (sorry for the bad news!). I've read somwhere that the average time to ovulate after stopping cerazette is 17 days, it's probably unlikely that you have ovulated yet. As for taking a long time to conceive, I got pregnant the first month we tried which was about 4 months after stopping cerazette.

I was only on Cerazette for 6 months. When I came off it it was 8 weeks before my period showed up. I have no idea if I ovulated in between those times or not, as I wasn't checking. Ever since then they've been very regular (although I was always very regular prior to going on the pill).

i was on cerazette for 3 years and now ttc#3, been off cerazette since march, got all the pregnancy symptoms going every month, so annoying!! i have m/c twice since i came off it, both very early on, but still not pregnant now!!! ARGH,
I cannot use pregnancy tests as they don't show up with me, so i have to have blood tests, but when i was pregnant with my second daughter the only one who even slightly picked her up was the pound shop tests!! (Guess im a cheap kind of girl LOL)
Good luck to us all, I'm due on from tomorrow again, since my cycle was a solid 28 days for 7 months and has now changed from 26 to 32 just to tick me off!!
