Cervical Ectropion

No idea if this is the right place to post.... so i posted in first tri too.
So here's a quick catch up with me in a nutshell:

~ BFP!
~ Spotting at 6 weeks
~ Scan at 7&1 weeks Shows all normal! Doctor said the spotting was from implantation.
~ Still spotting
~ 2 Weeks later another scan at 9 Weeks shows all normal!
~ Had a speculum with the doctor confirmed Cervical ectropion.

Basically she explained it as the inside cells of the cervix being pushed to the outside by the pregnancy hormone.
"Like a flower"


So no sex till the spotting stops
And if it carries on I have to get it treated.
After doing some research I'm scared ill cramp Alot.

The doctor said it doesn't affect the pregnancy though which is good.

Anyone else going through or been through the same?

I had this with my pregnancy, I had a big bleed at 38 weeks and some spotting around 5 weeks, I went and got checked for the bleed at 38 weeks and all was fine, she said as long as the bleeding was from the cervix it was fine, I had him at 40+4 and he was perfectly healthy, good luck with your pregnancy
