Cervical Polyps

I ended up in hospital yesterday morning after a bleed, the doc did an internal and I've got a cervical polyp that has become inflamed or irritated. He said they won't remove it while I'm still pregnant as it can cause miscarriage, I just have to put up with it for now. Well I don't think I did anything to irritate it and it started bleeding again this morning for no apparent reason.

Has anyone else had this? Does it stop after delivery or will I have to have it removed at some point? Will I be able to have a normal delivery or be monitored? I'm not seeing the midwife until tomorrow so answers would be appreciated.

I had a cervical polyp before my son was born, but had no bleeding in that pregnancy. Apparently, delivery destroys them and I found mine on my maternity pad a few days later.
