Cervix Question, Please Help x

Hi Girls

Just a quick question, I am 6 dpo today and yesterday and the day before my cervix was very low hard and closed (i think) I have a son so was told it may always feel slightly open. It was much more closed than say before ovulation put it that way. Today it feels very high, softer, wet and still feels more closed.

Is your cervix supposed to stay Low, Hard and Closed from after Ovulation untill a few days before A/F???

If you already have children then yes it always feels slightly open....mine seems to be all over the place, but as AF is approaching then it gets lower and more open.

It is quite confussing really x I have read that it should stay low, hard and closed until A/F when it opens. I also read it can change from day to day. Mine does tend to stay high most of the time from A/F until Ov. Just so complicated all this ttc stuff, never had it with my first as was a happy surprise x

do you track your cp hun? if you do how soon before your af is due does your cervix start moving lower? ive got four days before af is due and my cp is currently high, firmish (its not hard but not as soft as it gets when ovulating) closed and wet at the moment (well guessing its wet by the fact the tip of my finger slides over it with ease) and i was just wondering if it should be slowly moving down by now if af is due in four days time? xx

I'm not too sure hunny, I know it should be low firm and open for A/F coming and would assume maybe a couple of days before A/F it should be this way.
I don't chart my CP but I do check it around Ov so I know if the OPK's are right. I check it before Ov and after and it is always low firm and closed after but because I don't chart I can't remember if it stays that way or rises up again. I am confussed and probably confussed you too!!!
I know in early pregnancy it should be high, soft, wet and closed but when this happens differs in every woman x

its all very confusing! i would try and compare it to the month i concieved the twins but unfortunately as i wasnt thinking of ttc that month i didnt bother checking it!

one thing i do know is i think i shouldnt have done it cos ive now irritated my uterus as im cramping slightly now very low down! xx

I know sometimes I worry that I may irritate myself from all the digging, lol
my hubby is forever saying stop digging around in there, lol x
It may not be from cp checking that your having cramps, could be something else x i make sure my hands are scrubbed before I have a rumage around x

yep always wash my hands before and after.

might be because of the rummage might not be. started about 5-10 minutes after the rummage so dunno.

why cant ttc be so easy?!! xx
