chances of water birth with PIH?

Hi ladies. I was diagnosed with pregnancy induced hypertension at 27 weeks and been taking medication for this since. They are closely watching me for Preeclampsia. I would really like a water birth but don't have my next consultant app until end of the month when I'll be 36 weeks. Has anyone else been able to have a water birth whilst having high bp? I've been told they won't let me go past due date and will induce if she's not here by then. X
