Dd3 is 11 months and had always always poopednce every other day, sometimes every day. Never more than once a day. She even suffered from constipation for a while, starting around 5 months (before she started weaning) and this contibued until a few weeks ago (she was on a small anount of lactulose per day, which was needed as if I skipped it she would be constipated again.)

Anyway, the last two weeks or so, she has been pooping 3-5 times a day. They havent really changed much although the last few nappies have been really quite wet poop, not just mushy (sorry, tmi!) and seem to be burning her little bum (never had a problem with a sore bum before)

It just seems like such a drastic change. She only takes one bottle a day, has done for a month or more now and she eats alot of food (alot alot!) and her diet hasnt changed.

She is teething like mad. Tooth no.11 has just cut and her fourth molar (#12) is about to poke through the gum too, so she is cutting alot of teeth, poor thing! Could this be the sole reason?

My first thought as I was reading was that it sounded like teething. My lo gets terrible nappies and I think it is down to all the extra saliva. He gets a sore bum too. My DD was exactly the same XD

Absolutely the teething! My LO has often had the exact same symptoms when getting a tooth - and she has 14 of them now so I consider myself pretty informed on teething symptoms!

Slather on the Sudocrem or your barrier cream of choice and wait for it to pass. :)

Thanks ladies :)
My other two never had a sore bum when teething so it is all new to me! She just keeps getting teeth, it is crazy!

Tell me about it - mine suffers for up to 3 months with every tooth, so she's basically teethed non-stop since she was born. :nope:

My DD was like that. She had 16 teeth, all of them except the big molars right at the back, by her 1st birthday! Sounds like your girl is going the same way x
