This morning as he was getting so constipated with SMA anyway he is digesting the C&G stuff fine however he has always been rather sleepy during the day and today he has been awake most of the day, and he seems a lot more hungrier on it .... he went down for the first time today t at 9.30pm ish although he still isnt fully asleep (we are watching him on the monitor!) has anyone else switched onto this from SMA and had similar kind of thing happen? and have you had to up the dose you give them? He has had 10oz in a few hours and is only nearly 1month old hahahaha

I've switched from SMA to C&G Comfort today too, my lil boy was throwing up after every feed on SMA, he's been sick a little on C&G but HV said thats because his milk has changed. My lil boy used to be awake most the day, he only had his first feed of C&G at 2pm and he has slep alot since.
Our babies have had the opposite effect. Lol.
As for being hungrier, I've noticed Theo is wanting more before his usual 3 hours xx

Did the same almost 2 weeks ago

She was more awake initially on it and more hungry and only going to the toilet once every two days

But now, shes sleeping about 15 hours a day, and going poos every day. Even though they are now very soft and STINK!

I would say shes alo more windy on it, in terms of farting TMI lol But has settled on it well

We changed for he same reason constipation and trapped wind.

(our LO is 4 weeks now aswell)

Hi there,

I switched my daughters formula when she was about a month old as she was getting constipated and had terrible windy/colicky pain. As for making her more wakeful, I can't say a noticed a big difference there, but she is so much more settled and her poos are more like what they were on breast milk. She brings up her wind much more easily. I found that she took less of the comfort formula than she was taking of the SMA, presumably because it is a thicker feed. sorry if this doesn't help! She has never taken her daytime naps very well so its hard to judge if it has affected her sleep!
xx
