Changing from soya to normal milk..

We thought that our LO had a milk allergy as she had a skin infection on her face when she was quite young.
The GP suggested it could be the milk & that we should switch to soya.
Even though the soya milk suited her finem she still got the rash once more, however we decided to leave on her soya as she seemed to digest it a bit better than the normal milk anyway.

She is now 3 & a half months & the doc have advised that we put her back on normal milk now as she will drink that when shes older anyway.
We tried giving it to her this morning but she is having none of it!!! She makes a horrible face & pushes the bottle out!!!!

How are we going to change back now?? Help pls

I take it you're trying to get her onto formula just now, not cows milk?

Im wondering the same thing angelica... I was going to wait until 6months and try reg formula again when her tummy is developed more.

Maybe try mixing it where it's 3/4 soya and then 1/4 of the other stuff, do that for a day or 2then do 1/2 and 1/2 then 3/4 he new stuff and 1/4 soya until you wean her off it slowly and get her used to the new taste?

I think just to see if she is allergic? Some babies when they are born are not actually allergic to cows milk, but get colicky because it is harder to digest, so they switch to soy formula and it helps... It did in our case anyways.
