hi my 2month old is currently on aptamil but can only manage about 3 oz at a time even thou she isnt full therefore wants feeding again in half hour? Anyone recommend a slightly thicker more filling milk?? xx

Hi hun i asked health visitor about this as my LO only goes 1.5-2 hours between feeds. She said she wouldnt advise going on any hungry baby milk as its more for when theyre 5months (ish) and draining a 9oz bottle and still hungry but not quite ready for weaning.
She told me just to stick with him feeding that often for now & it will pass.

Your LO could just be having a growth spurt xx

I was advised against the hungry baby milk at all costs, so I can't suggest much. You should really speak to your HV

What size teats are you using? If your LO is having to work really hard to get the milk, it could be that she is tiring herself out and that's why she's only taking smaller amounts.

That said, our LO was what my HV dubbed a "snacker" for the first couple of months. She gradually started taking bigger bottles with longer intervals on her own.
