changing schools?

I applied for a nursery place and reception place for my two children and have been accepted, but I want to change schools due to childcare issues now ( my mum will be taking them to school while i work) anyone know how realistic it is ill be able to swap them? i know all the schools around here usually have more applicants than spaces. its making me so anxious!!

I know it would probably depend on the area but..has anyone successfully changed schools recently?

We haven't but I'd call your local authority (council). I've got my DD on waiting lists for two other schools as her school stops at infants and I don't like their associated junior school. It depends on places and allocations.
A friend of mine has just got her son into a school near us that's usually oversubscribed so there must have been a place in his year.
