This year we are changing our christmas lol we are going to do it OUR way and what suits us and not just what the family normally do. This year for the first year EVER we have said we are going to stay at home, if people want to come, thats fine, but were not going out to them lol. This should make the kids happier as M wont have to get dressed (he hates that) and he can stay in his pjs and they can actually play with their new toys.
We normally have Christmas dinner at about 1pm but thats going too. It just means I spend most the morning in the kitchen which I dont want to do. Sooo we going to have Christmas buffet for lunch time and when people come over, this should make us all happier.
We will have christmas dinner in the evening when the kids have calmed down!
Hopefully this will make christmas as fun as possible. When you have a child with ASD sometimes you have to make a few tweeks to your traditions and I am sure this will work MUCH better x
Anyone else changing things this year?
