Charting after loss

Hey,
Question about charting. I started light bleeding over a week ago but the real heavy stuff didn't start until today. I've read that you can count miscarriage bleeding as a period to start charting again, even though the cycle won't be the same as others. But I just want to document it all and get some sort of schedule. FF has my lightness as cd1 but I am on countdown to pregnancy as well and not sure if I should "start a new cycle" and have it be started on Sept 5 or today.

from miscarriage its day1, I have a normal cycle and had a D&C done exactly 27days ago today and its right on point my AF showed up this morning. so from now I know I will ovulate anywhere between 14-8 days from today. Hope that helps

Well I got a call from the doc today. They want me to do an hpt on Oct 2 to make sure my hcg is down. It was only 31 on friday so I am sure it will be nothing by then. But this is day 28 on this "cycle" according to FF (Sept 5, first day of any bleeding would be cd1). So it seems the doc is on that same schedule. So I am going to start temping tomorrow morning and monitoring. Just to have a record of what is going on.

My periods come every 27ish days from the time I stop bleeding to the time I start bleeding again. I started my first post m/c period exactly 21 days from the day I completely stopped bleeding from my miscarriage, not from the day I lost the sac. I would say to wait until you've completely stopped bleeding and your hcg level is below 5 to count as cd1. Sometimes all the tissue doesn't come out when you pass the sac which will make you continue bleeding and your hcg will stay elevated between 10-50 miu.

My hcg was at 31 on Friday. I suspect it will be down to nothing soon. I don't know if I passed the sac yet. I wasn't far along but there was lots of stuff yesterday.
I am going along with FF but I know this isn't a real cycle. It is more just logging stuff.
