Hiya. Since i started on Met 2 weeks ago I have been charting my BBT. It had been at a consitant 35.90-35.95 until Saturday when it went up to 36.30, then to 36.10 on Sunday, then back up to 36.35 this morning. Do you think i have ovulated? If so what day would that have been? I am a bit confused as to when the ovulation would have actually happened.

Thanks in advance.

Do you chart your temps on a site like Fertility Friend? It's so much easier to determine when you're looking at a graph. What Cycle day are you on? And how long, generally are your cycles?

But generally there is a drop and raise pattern during the beginning of the cycle, followed up a rather significant right before O, or perhaps during O.

If you're not already, I would suggest using a charting software or site like Fertility Friend, it can be very helpful at seeing your cycles on paper, so to speak.

well it does defo sound as if u ovulated with temps u have given and i would say the day b4 the first temp rise was ur ovulation day, latest that day of temp rise so friday or satuarday would have been ur ov day hunny, some people get a dip in temp on ov day like my self but many women just experience the temp shift up so looks to be that u did ov my hun xxxx

Thanks for that NeyNey and Charlie. I don't currently keep a chart on FF but i will start doing that now. My cycles used to last 41-45 days but this is my first month of Met so I'm hoping they will be more like 30days. I am now on day 17 so really hoping that it was ovulation! x

oh huns if it was ovulation which going by u temps clearly show it was then this means ur cycle WILL be shorter thats brilliant, also around the time of temps rising did ur CM change at all to more EWCM or watery CM as this is also a good sign of ovulation BUT im not sure on the met if this helps cm or hinders so u will have to help me out with that one but if fertile cm was present babes it just confirms ov more xxxx

I had CM from day 11 and then that changed to more of the EWCM by day 13-14. I also had a slight cramping or twinges during this time, however at the time I wasn't sure if this was just due to my changing hormones (not long starting the met). I have now set up my chart on FF and it does show the ovulation day as friday (cd14). I just hope my temps are right! x

I know the temps can be slightly off if you don't take them at the same time every day and as it was the weekend it was about an hour later. Do you think this will make much of a difference? Do you manage to take your temp at the same time every day or do you take it slightly later at weekends?

I take my temps at 7:30am each day, I set my alarm for it, so that way if I have a day off, I just temp, and then go back to sleep - it's good if you have a thermometer with a memory so you don't have to worry about writing anything down.
