Cheers to BFPs in 2-0-1-6!

Whimsy- Didn't test this morning. Kind of at the point of if she doesn't show by tomorrow I'll just whip out the FRER. DH even said we could buy a digi if that comes back pos. Took one yesterday afternoon and got an evap line really close to the control line which I found quite odd. 15DPO today!

DH and I have decided that when we do finally get our BFP we're just going to change out one of the pictures on my MIL's family picture wall and put our US picture there instead and wait to see how long it takes her to notice it. Knowing my family though it'll be one of my nephews or my niece that points it out to her.

I've also decided I'm going to get a minimalistic turtle tattoo when our lo is born, mostly because they've been so slow to get here! I got the idea from a onesie at Chapters. It has a little turtle on it and under it all it says is 'worth the wait'. Considering by the time we get our BFP it'll be well over a year, and then 9 months for him/her to arrive, it'll definitely be fitting.

Whimsical - def going to nap the whole way. Lol. Hoping I can make it through the 4 hour event without needing to pee! we can't leave once we line up at 9am. And it ends at 130pm!

Abe - what a cute idea! I love the turtle idea!!

I'm absolutely in love with the idea too Angel.

I caved. Bought a CB digi for tomorrow morning. Cervix is still looking good and still have creamy cm. I've got a back ache on the lower right side and I feel horrendous.

Omg I am so anxious to see you test!!! Keeping every crossed for you!!

I'm just hoping it's not another BFN... Don't know how many more of those I can take, especially this cycle.

abe i love that idea. it will always remind you of the journey you had and will make you smile knowing you got your BFP and bundle of joy at the end.
fx crossed for you honey. sending tons of baby dust to you

angel....4hrs and no toilet break....best get a diaper on:haha:.... no way you can do 4hrs and not feel like bursting

Whimsy - I read that the raspberry leaf tea is supposed to help your lining etc so im game to try anything. I don't mind the taste but as you said Angel, the sticking to it will be the problem!

Abe that is such a good idea I love it. And I can't wait for your test!! fingers crossed over here!

Did bother testing today. Temp dropped to pre-O temps. Looks like the witch is coming today.

:( so sorry. what a horrible trick for your body to play on you! A few months before ago I had a cycle like that - AF was 4 days late and I was sure I had to be pregnant. :hugs:

So sorry Abe! I was catching up on the thread and was getting so hopeful for you. UGH AF is a real b.

Angel: Congrats on graduation! You're done!! Now you'll have plenty of time to rest. Got anything fun planned for your break? (Also four hours without a bathroom break?! That's cruel for a pregnant lady)

AFM: Nothing really new. Still waiting on my blood test results. I swear I'm kind of showing already but it's gotta just be the bloat happening. I have found that drinking metamucil in the evening time is helpful for the constipation in the morning, so that's been relieving some of the pressure at least. I had a terrible dream last night that I started bleeding and it was so vivid that I honestly couldn't quite tell if it was real or not when I woke up. Fx that was just a stress dream and not a bad omen...

Etis thats just your fears taking over you. dont worry everything will be ok.

Abe sorry, i really hope you can still be preg....fx...

Sheece that sound nice, yeah the sticking to it part is the worst so mabe keep it at work or close the the kettle to remind you all the time.

So sorry Abe :( Mine was like that too this cycle, hope it just means our bodies are clearing out and getting ready for a bfp next cycle for both of us xx

Had my OB appointment yesterday! Didn't get a new US pic because she had my US pictures from my RE and could see that everything was progressing regularly. Since my OB is through the same clinic as my PCP they don't have the US equipment in the rooms, I think that when she does order US I have to go to the imaging clinic (which is downstairs in another office I believe). I'm not 100% sure on that. But she was able to find heartbeat for just a few seconds using doppler, baby kept wiggling away so she couldn't catch it for long. She said it's really hard to find them with doppler before 11 weeks, so it was good (and <3 beat in the 160s).

They took about 7 vials of blood and are running a bunch of tests, and lots of talking and questions and stuff. It suddenly feels so real!

Etis - Honestly I switched to Maternity pants around 6-7 weeks because I was just so bloated and uncomfortable I couldn't stand wearing regular clothes, and I also look like I'm starting to show, even though I know it's more bloat than anything else. I have been havinag horrible dreams about this pregnancy too, so vivid I wake up not sure if it's real or not. :hugs: I think it's stress.

As for my break - my plan is to sleep! LoL! I have another week left before my students are out of school and then I can have a true break for most of the summer. Usually I do summer school or summer tutoring or workshops during the summer but this summer I'm taking it easy!

angel that all sounds so lovely. wish they could have done another US. so lovely seeing he/she grow. how is the progesterone treating you now? maternity pants at 6 weeks, thats so quick. hope the next trimester gets easier with the bloating. any guesses with the sex? you have to say he or she when you talk about baby so im sure between you and hubby youll already guessing.

Progesterone is okay I've mostly adapted. I'm sure I'll feel even better Once I'm off. lol. I'm guessing girl. But DH doesn't have a guess, nad in fact he'd rather wait until birth to find out (crazy man :haha: ). We usually just refer to it as "baby" or "it" (but I Really don't like ot say "it"), so we aren't using pronouns very often.

Both times we heart heartbeat it was in the 160s though, and so if I wnated to use the "old wives tale" based on HB then it's a girl. :p

My parents thought my sister was going to be a boy when they were going off HB. A really shy boy. Turns out they were wrong haha!

abe for my baby sister, my parents thought they were having a boy. from her 2 girls before, her symptoms were very different, they even picked out a name for him and when it was a girl they were shocked.lol.

angel i think with all the different tests you can play with online and all your features as your pregnancy goes along you will be having many guesses. i love that DH wants to wait to see the sex. its really old fashioned but so much more of a surprise that the doc telling you using US. IF i do get preg, i would wait too.... dont worry if you do call baby it....sounds horrible but alot of people do it. its just a default our brains go to...

hey girls how are we all? :)

im on CD 11, hoping I ovulate around CD 14 / 15 this month. Been doing some chart analysis, the cycle we got pregnant in, we BD every day for 4 days before ov, had ov day off, and BD for 3 days after.

Every other cycle we only BD 2 or 3 days before, with a day between each time, and none after. I didn't realise how little we did it lol.

SO this cycle we are doing it every day from now till ov (really hope its on time!!) and for 2 / 3 days after, I feel like thats key for me anyway.

I was so over BD'ing after that cycle though, will have to try to freshen it up a bit lol

Also, I feel like my temps have evened out a bit this cycle! I'm not sure if its the raspberry leaf tea (which im still sticking too woo!) but I have heard that that could happen with it. Hopefully that makes a difference, usually my temps are up, down, up down but this cycle they are kinda smooth! Not so erratic :)

My temps were all over the place until they leveled out on my BFP cycle so this could be good news for you! BD plan sounds good! Do you have any pressed? That helped me a lot! I highly recommend it. Good luck!
