Chills, hot flushes and fever 4weeks pp

So ive been feeling chills (teeth chattering and i could not get warm nommatter what), then sweating or just very hot during past few nights.

Usually i was fine in the morning, so did not think much of it

Today i was still hot and took temperature it was 38.2C, after paracetamol it went down to 37.2
No other symtoms, i bf, but no pain, so dont think its mastitis, my son had some virus last week with fever and nothing else, so might be that?

Can it be my hormones playing up?
Feel silly going to GP after just a night of fever

Anyone experienced anything similar?

I would get checked just to be on the safe side as they can be symptoms of uterine infection x

Thanks! Will call my doctor today, but i feel better this morning.

Been to GP this morning, got checked and they did not find anything wrong (no blood tests done though). I still have fever, so probably virus and told to come back if no chanhes by mid next week or if i get worse :/

Hope your feeling better soon. There's nothing worse than feeling poorly when you've got a newborn to look after. I've been full of a cold all week and now it moved to my chest

Thank you, i woke up with sore throat today and feve is not going above 37.2, so i guess that was something to do with a cold/virus

My tem is not high anymor just around 37.2, so hope things are started to settle in

My whole family has had a cold, cough, fever, sore throat thing it was horrible. I got the shakes from cold, fever, ds1 barley ate for four days, new baby was hacking and coughing, ugh!
It's really doing the rounds here all my friends with kids are coming down with it. Feel better soon!

So exactly week on my first case of high temp..this evening i have chills and 39C and terrible pain in left breast...looks like emergency GP app tomorrow morning :/
