Ok so I'm totally confused now, because I've had one pos and one neg test result for chlamydia in the past month... So this past January 15th, I went into my urgent care center because I was having classic symptoms of BV (TMI: an excess of bright white discharge, and strong "fish" like smell-ugh!).

And so when I saw the doctor she took some swabs of you-know-what, and a urine sample for an STD screening, and pregnancy test just for precaution (at the time I didn't know if I was pregnant or not yet).
So the swabs came back, and wouldn't you know I had BV AND a yeast infection...
And my pregnancy test came back positive, twice!
(yes, I peed on my own sticks when I got home just to see that precious second line!)
Anyway, the results of the STD screening I took that same day were neg for both chlamydia and gonorrhea.
Then at my first prenatal appt this past February 12th, my Doc performed a pap smear (and apparently a cervical swab for STDs, but now that I think about it, I only remember one thing hitting my cervix...). The very next day, I got a call from a nurse saying my test came back pos for chlamydia.
The problem is that I'm in a monogamous relationship now with my hubby, and have been for 2 years. And before that, a monogamous relationship with another very loyal and dedicated man for close to two years, and no other sexual partners in between. SO how's this possible? I've had chlamydia in the past, 2008, and it was treated appropriately, and I've had negative tests since then...
Has anyone had a false pos or false neg before?
How common is it really?
Does anyone have any experience with anything like this before?
I've been scouring google, but sometimes personal experience means more that a bunch of wiki medical mumbo...
