Hi ladies,
I am anxiously awaiting my blood results to come back to test for ICP or Cholestasis in pregnancy where your liver is affected, unfortunately i had it with my son, started itching like crazy at 37 weeks had the test done and they got him out by 39 weeks by c section as he was breech, so i knew with this baby i could also get it again. I started the itching at 34 weeks, and now its gradually become intolerable. What i'm more worried about is the baby, i know risk of still birth is high with this condition i'm just trying to monitor movements and make sure nothing slows down i'm just very worried since i got it so early this time. I also would love to avoid an induction but i also realize it may be the only way. I've been approved for a VBAC since this baby is head down and my DD my first born was born naturally. With an induction i hear the labor is more painful as your body is forced to start labor, is this true? i was hoping to try an avoid an epidural because i get horribly sick afterwards, and just stick with gas and air but i'm thinking that may not work if i'm induced
its all very scary but i'm pretty sure this is why i'm so itchy! if the blood test is negative i will most likely be asking for a repeat one but that could take just as long to come back
